These iconic planters are authentic Willy Guhl, and make for terrific accents outside a modernist home. Of course, they can be used indoors as well. Although aged, there are no cracks or fractures.

The planters are made of a cement and fiber composite material, and are a great look when used together.

The “Spindel” planter was designed in 1951 by Anton Bee and Willy Guhl for Eternit in Switzerland. They are some of the most iconic modern design planters ever created and helped to establish the reputation of Eternit. The Spindel took Europe by storm and it can be found just about anywhere in Europe in public places, private gardens, Swiss and Italian lake front estates and hotels, spa resorts and plenty of mid century modern homes. These were purchased from a Frank Lloyd Wright home in Westchester, New York.

We prefer to sell these as a set, but feel free to inquire about individual planters.
