Magnificent architecturally designed iron lounge chair from the 1940’s era. We consider this one of our most unique acquisition and have never encountered a chair with this kind of impressive, large form and design.
The only attribution that we consider to be close, would be the great European designer Jean Royère. The chair is possibly from Belgium. Rounded features, circular supports and intricate iron strapping through the seat and back truly make this a conversation piece, a work of art. The chair is equally stunning with or without the cushions.
Deep red upholstery is slightly worn on the armpads, but is acceptable with or without being reupholstered. Cushions are comfortable and in good condition.
