Burlap horse stuffed with straw, circa 19th century. This is an outstanding piece in person with great character and presence. Anotomically beautiful with strong neck and frame. The original tacks, nails, stitching and paint on the hoofs, aged beautifully. Carved wooden legs enhance the strong posture.
